Jim has over 30 years experience in the marketing and sales of RF and Microwave components and sub-systems. Jim started his OEM sales career at Microwave Semiconductor Corporation (MSC) in Somerset, NJ in 1985 as a Sales Engineer. Continuing his focus in the field of RF Power Transistors, Jim joined Thomson CSF (now STMicroelectronics) in 1986 as a Product Marketing Engineer. In 1989 Jim was promoted to Regional Sales Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan.
Jim started his career in the distribution of RF & Microwave components when he joined Richardson Electronics Ltd in 1990. Jim was one of the first technical sales people Richardson hired and after several promotions over a 6 year period was named the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for the Solid State and Components Business Unit.
As part of Avnet’s succession planning efforts, Jim was recruited by Avnet/Penstock as Vice President of Business Development to assist in the integration of Penstock into Avnet. Jim was instrumental in building Avnet’s RF and Microwave Division, and was named Vice President of Sales for Avnet RF & Microwave in 2001.
In October 2004, Jim founded Sertech Inc. and in 2015 he merged Sertech with Microwave Components to form Sertech MCM.

Sales Engineer / Co-Founder
Joe has 45 years’ experience in the RF & Microwave field both in engineering (9 years) and Sales (36 years). Joe started his career as an engineer with Arris (formerly Jerrold Electronics) working in their Cable Distribution Group. During his tenure he designed numerous Filter’s, Diplexers, Amplifiers and was on the design team that introduced the very first Two-Way Cable system.
In January 1979 he left engineering and went to work for a Sales Rep Firm as a Sales Engineer selling RF and Microwave Components. In July 1981 he joined M/A-Com and within 3 months of joining M/A-Com he was promoted to Area Sales Manager. During his 5 year tenure as Manager he grew sales from $2.5M to over $17.0M in Sales.
In June of 1987 Joe started his own Rep Company Microwave Components Marketing specializing in RF & Microwave Sales where he has remained until the recent merger with Sertech Inc. During the past 28 years Joe has represented a number of RF and Microwave companies and in 2010 at the request of one of his major Principals (TriQuint) expanded his territory to include Northern New Jersey and Metro New York.

Jim F. McAuliff
Jim has over 17 years experience in the marketing and sales of RF and Microwave components and sub-systems. Jim started his RF career in 1982 at American Electronic Laboratories (now Cobham) in Lansdale, PA. Jim joined InterDigital Communications Corp. in 1993 as a RF Engineer with responsibility for transceiver circuit design and sub-system testing.
In 1998, Jim transitioned to sales by joining manufacturers sales rep firm Pennsylvania Scientific Devices as a Sales Engineer with account responsibility in E PA/S NJ. In 2000, Jim joined rep firm Amplitude Technical Sales (ATS) to cover the same territory with a focus on selling RF/Microwave & Opto components to customers serving military, commercial, wireless, BTS and CATV markets. With consistent design wins year over year, Jim was successful in growing sales from $3M to $7.5M. Jim managed several large key customer accounts for ATS and was on the cutting edge of the EW/Jammer power amplifier market and its’ adoption of packaged GaN HEMTs.
In 2010, Jim joined rep firm Microwave Components Marketing (MCM) and his territory expanded to include NNJ. Key customer design wins led to a sales representative of the year nomination for Jim in 2014.
Through the merger of Sertech and MCM in July 2015, Jim became a key member of the Sertech MCM team.

Joe has over 37 years of RF and microwave design, application engineering, project management, sales management, technical collaboration, problem solving, hardware manufacture, and expert supply chain experience.
Joe earned both a BSEE and MSEE from Polytechnic Institute of NY. He spent his first five years at Hazeltine designing and developing anti jam communication systems and the next ten years at Sedco/Raytheon designing EW countermeasure receivers and components. This was followed by three years of microwave design at Aeroflex, where he was personally responsible for both the design, fabrication details and manufacture of many microwave receivers and components including a 4-bit F16 phase shifter for Hazeltine/BAE.
After nearly 18 years of direct design responsibilities, Joe then transitioned to a position in technical sales and application engineering at Penstock/Avnet. This position included the cutting edge design, development and sales of a diverse set of applications including RF power transmitters, microwave receivers, power supplies, wireless systems etc. Joe held numerous sales and management positions for over 17 years at Avnet , rising to the position of Northeast Area Director for the 80M+ dollar Avnet RF and Microwave division. The exposure to thousands of customers, military and commercial, has afforded him a vast wealth of technical, sales and business knowledge

Inside, Outside and Distribution Sales
Josh has 20 years experience in Sales and Marketing. After spending 2 years studying Business Administration at West Chester University, he went on to operate and manage an Independent Bookstore for 10 years beginning in 1995. In addition to the brick-and-mortar business he participated in both regional and national conferences as the sole bookseller, and with the dawn of the internet age transitioned the business to become an online store, learning the technical side of digital inventory and database management.
In 2005, Josh transitioned to Consumer Electronics Sales with the Bose Corporation, reaching $1M in retail sales in his first 2 ½ years and being a team leader in technical training and support for the Sales team.
Having joined Microwave Components Marketing in 2010 as Administrator and Inside Sales Representative, Josh then translated his valuable experience in servicing the needs of the customer into the RF and Microwave arena. During this time he developed tools for forecasting and database management that were key in helping MCM grow to represent TriQuint in both the Eastern PA and Metro NY territories, managing Distribution for the company as well.
In July 2015 Josh joined the newly merged Sertech MCM team covering both Inside and Outside sales, putting his experience in Sales and customer service to use helping to grow sales for the manufacturers we represent.

After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BFA, Sue joined Swatch Watch USA as Account Manager for the Swatch and Flik-Flak brands. Over her 12 year career with Swatch, Sue managed a 3 million territory in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Ohio.
While raising her children she held similar part-time sales positions for brands such as Speedo and Nautica swimwear.
At Sertech MCM, Sue does excellent job with customer service and is responsible for general administration.

Inside and Distribution Sales
Caroline has over 30 years experience in sales and sales support of RF and Microwave components and sub-systems. Caroline started her career in 1980 at Microwave Semiconductor Corporation (MSC) in Somerset, NJ as an Export Sales Administrator. In her 20 years at MSC (now STMicroelectronics) Caroline gained valuable experience in what it takes to service customers that use RF and Microwave products.
Caroline joined Avnet’s RF & Microwave Business Unit in 2000 in an inside sales role. As a Sales and Marketing Representative for Avnet RF and Microwave, Caroline serviced customers that used a broad range of RF and Microwave products.
Caroline puts her experience to work for customers and manufacturers Sertech MCM represents.
Director LW Sales and Business Development
Erik brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in lightwave components and modules.
Erik started his career in R&D working at Bellcore (now Telcordia) and at Royal Philips Electronics where he pioneered several optoelectronic components and during which time he published around 70 papers.
In 1995, he moved to sales and marketing at Philips Optoelectronics, where he was responsible for the business development for WDM lasers, tunable lasers, and high-speed EML’s. Partly as a result of the rapid growth that was achieved, Philips sold this business unit in 1998 to JDSU for well over $1 billion.
Erik continued his career being responsible for sales and marketing at ThreeFive Photonics, which grew through a number of mergers into ASIP, then Apogee, then CyOptics, and finally into Avago. Products consisted of uncooled 10Gb/s 1310nm EMLs, as well as 10Gb/s and 40Gb/s 1550nm laser sources. During this time revenues grew 50% or more each quarter.
In 2007, Erik Joined Eudyna Devices Inc where has was responsible for marketing in the US. The marketing team owned design-in’s at all key customers for telecom, CATV, and module products. In addition, marketing was responsible for introducing tunable lasers as well as 40-100Gb/s components.
In 2009, Erik started his own consulting company (www.7pennies.com) specializing in sales, marketing, and business development. As such, he is working for Sertech MCM in order to grow their lightwave business, by adding on new lightwave lines and by selling their products in Sertech MCM’s territory.
