Sales Engineer / Co-Founder
Joe has 45 years’ experience in the RF & Microwave field both in engineering (9 years) and Sales (36 years). Joe started his career as an engineer with Arris (formerly Jerrold Electronics) working in their Cable Distribution Group. During his tenure he designed numerous Filter’s, Diplexers, Amplifiers and was on the design team that introduced the very first Two-Way Cable system.
In January 1979 he left engineering and went to work for a Sales Rep Firm as a Sales Engineer selling RF and Microwave Components. In July 1981 he joined M/A-Com and within 3 months of joining M/A-Com he was promoted to Area Sales Manager. During his 5 year tenure as Manager he grew sales from $2.5M to over $17.0M in Sales.
In June of 1987 Joe started his own Rep Company Microwave Components Marketing specializing in RF & Microwave Sales where he has remained until the recent merger with Sertech Inc. During the past 28 years Joe has represented a number of RF and Microwave companies and in 2010 at the request of one of his major Principals (TriQuint) expanded his territory to include Northern New Jersey and Metro New York.
